My love affair with AAPL

Falling into my Veruca Salt persona, I almost threw a fit (full on with the kicking and screaming on the floor) yesterday when I found out I'll need to wait, yet another month before receiving my precious 3G iPhone. I know, I know, 3G isn't exactly the best thing since sliced bread, but I did promise myself that I could buy the 2nd generation iPhone after all of the woes that went with my impulse buy the day the iPod came out.

That said, I'm stuck with my crappy back up phone until around July 11th. Coincidently, a trip to Portland may be in order that weekend. I'm also toying with the idea of getting a Macbook Air for school if I get in. I'll keep my fingers crossed that a more robust machine will be released before school starts, but I doubt that will happen. Again, I know, this is by no means the best machine in the world and will not replace My First Laptop, but I would like to have a light laptop to take to school since I'll (hopefully) be bussing it from work.

On a side note, it took me 2 hours and 20 minutes to get from cube to home yesterday... brutal. That's what I get for leaving 10 minutes before 5 even though I still worked for about 9 hours.
