Would I be a good citizen if...

Today is the first day of the hands-free cell phone law in the state of Washington. On the way home from the park and ride I saw not one, but two people on their cell phones. One of which I saw get on their phone at a stop light.

Now, I am a huge believer in karmatrons, so I'm trying to get them whenever and wherever I can. This includes little things like offering to taking pictures for people around Safeco field and giving people directions when they get lost.

Anyway, I saw an opportunity here. I could honk at the person and some how mime, do not use your cell phone while driving. I then thought that, chances are, they are either (a) clueless about the new law people have been talking about for a year or (b) jackasses who feel they are above the law. Either way, they would have absolutely no idea what I was talking about and would think I'm the jackass for honking at them.

Sadly, I did not honk. I do not know if they got pulled over, but that sure would have been an easy ticket.. almost as easy as it was to catch me rolling thru a fucking empty intersection with the fucking camera watching. I hate those cameras.

Anyway, I had a missed opportunity for karmatrons and I am sad. It's funny how the closer I get to Vegas, the more superstitious I get. 3 days!!!!!
