If you google "fairweather fan" I'm pretty sure my picture will come up. That said, I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. If it weren't for the 1995 and 2002 seasons, I wouldn't know a thing about baseball. Same goes for Football with the 2005 season, although I'm pretty sure the fact that the Seahawks is the only real obsession of one of my best friends has something to do with it.Now that the Olympics are over, I could focus all of my cube real estate to something like the Democratic National Convention or pre-season pro football, but the Seattle times kindly provided two beautifully colorful pictures of my new husband, Michael Phelps.
Any time his name has been mentioned over the past few weeks, I have been notified all parties involved that he is my husband and just doesn' t know it yet. Most people will very sarcastically say, "you'd look great standing next to each other" referring to my 5'2" stature. One of my coworkers said, "yeah, you'd really balance out his ADHD," in a nice way and my first thought was, "yeah, *that* is why we'll get together..."
Not sure how long these pictures will stay up, but for now it's great eye candy.
