In real life (and, by real life, I mean outside of Vegas) I'm a pretty frugal person. I take the bus as much as I can, turn out lights and brown bag my lunch. Once in a blue moon, I'll forget my lunch and, if I'm lucky, this day will fall on a Tuesday when the skillet street food cart is in the SoDo area. This requires me to walk past the day laborers at Home Depot (some of whom think it's really attractive to whistle and cat call), but it's totally worth it. They have a different menu every week with yummy options including cous cous, kobe beef burgers and pasta salad (pictured below). Each week many employees from my building line up knowing full well that the wait will be at least 30 minutes.
This excursion, unfortunately, kept me from going to Westlake and seeing one of my many boyfriends-who-don't-know-they're-my-boyfriends, Blake Lewis. Oh well, I'm sure he'll be around again and my stomach was happy.
