I want a "Jim"

Is he perfect? No, but I honestly think that the imperfection in his near-perfect character's relationship leads me to believe that this could be like the anti-relationship-curse that is my life.

For those of you who don't know, Jim (played by John Krasinski) from "The Office" and is in love with Pam (played by Jenna Fischer), who is engaged through the first season or so to another guy. They are best friends and have a ridiculously perfect relationship. After a while he leaves and starts to date some other girl, but still, clearly, has feelings for Pam.

Every time I watch the show, half of me roots for them to get together and the other half wants them to stay apart so I can continue to believe that life is simply crappy for some of us. Is that messed up or what?
